Behind a nice exterior facade, the Cécilia is a home with a soul, thanks to a setting composed of assorted objects, carefully selected by the family of owners since 1956. The spacious lobby is very attractive with its geometrically-designed mosaic floor , its pale wood panelling and its beautiful Louis XVth furniture. You then enter into a large lounge, where many armchairs are set on an elegant carpet, allowing you to receive friends or business relations in a quiet and refined atmosphere. An oval skylight projects subdued lighting that gives texture to the splendid decorative artefacts accumulated through the years: old sculptures, carved wooden horses, Chinese piece of furniture, period cabinet, concert grand piano and even a stuffed tiger. A few plants and bouquets of flowers add life to the gold-dominated tones. Further, is a private bar, transformed into a breakfast room every morning. A handsome wrought-iron stairways or a lift lead to the upper floors.

Unfortunately, the 48 bedrooms do not have the same elegance as the public areas with their flowery wallpaper matching the coverlet in an old-fashioned provincial style. But they are cheerful, clean and very comfortable with air-conditioning, direct-telephone, satellite TV and a nice modern bathroom with hairdryer.
