Completely renovated in 2003, the Bastille de Launay is blessed with an exceptional location in the heart of the historical Marais, one of the prettiest and oldest area of Paris. Amelot street itself is bordered by many excellent restaurants, that will put sunshine into your stay. Proximity to the lively Bastille area is also a great plus. As for the hotel itself, it has everything to satisfy the most demanding guests, starting with the attractive lounge with its tiled floor, comfortable striped sofas and armchairs in warm orange tones like the drapes, its subtle wallpaper and nice illustrations. The 36 guest rooms are bright and comfortable, but not one is alike. Some are sober with soft tones, and others more cheerful with contrasting colours In general, you will find coordinated prints, checks or stripes, warmth and a provincial influence. They are not very large, but functional with a work desk, double windows, air-conditioning, direct phone with modem plug, satellite TV, safety deposit box and mini-bar. The bathrooms (tub or shower) are modern with a hairdryer.
